The Beats Flex headphones are now available in two more colours - Flame Blue and Smoke Grey.

The two new colour scheme's for Beats Flex join Beats Black and Citrus Yellow, which were launched by Beats and Apple in autumn last year.

The Beats Flex are in-ears which can easily be hung around the neck thanks to a cable adjoining each of the earbuds, of which are magnetic. This means they play automatically when placed in the ears and the music is paused when around your neck and attached.

Tight, accurate bass response is achieved through a dual-chamber acoustic design and a proprietary layered driver, while an advanced digital processor ensures your audio is rich and crisp.

Expect less dropouts with Beats Flex due to the Class 1 Bluetooth technology, which gives longer wireless range for when your phone isn't in your hand. Calls are clearer and interfered with less with a built-in microphone which works to reduce wind noise.

Battery life lasts up to 12 hours and an option of Fast Fuel charging means you can get 90 minutes of extra juice in just 10 minutes.

Another key feature is the Apple W1 chip. This means the headphones can be used with any Apple devices synced to your iCloud. All you have to do to enable the W1 chip is power on and hold the Beats Flex next to your device of choice. This opens up the opportunity to switch between products, check battery life and share what you're currently playing via Audio Sharing. This feature can be used with another set of compatible Bluetooth headphones.

Included with the Beats Flex are USB-C to USB-C charging cable and four different size eartips.

Last summer saw Beats introduce a bunch of new colours for its Powerbeats Pro range.
