He has also worked with two long time collaborators, Robin Ekemark, who worked on the design, and Erik Lavesson, who worked on words and art direction.
This will be the Swedish DJ and producer's first solo music release in roughly a decade, and each album contains nine tracks for fans to sink their teeth into.
According to a press release, the works are "separate but corresponding, communicating through music, design and words."

Speaking on the art direction of the album, Erik Lavesson explains: ”For Axel’s two albums, we wanted to build on the music to create a kind of expanded universe. If you just want to listen to the music, it’s all there and you don’t have to look any further.
"If you want to go deeper, you have these extra layers to delve into: album art, text, archive material. They feed back into the music and open up new perspectives, while the music opens up ways to enter the other material as well.”
To launch the album, Axel will be playing at a launch party in New York alongside Studio Barnhus affiliate Bella Boo and Beats In Space founder Tim Sweeney. More information and tickets for that event can be found here.
'LUZ/QUEST FOR FIRE' is expected to be out on April 15.
