Avicii’s family have turned his website into a digital memorial that fans can contribute to

Avicii’s parents have transformed his website into the Avicii Memory Board that will serve as an online tribute to the late DJ and producer.

The page allows fans to express the love they felt for him, asking people to share stories of what Avicii brought to their lives.

The site reads: “Tim created music that brought people together with timeless memories from all over the world,” asking fans “to let the world know what Avicii meant to you.”

Fans have so far contributed pictures of fresh Avicii tattoos as well as moving written tributes, such as “Tim, thanks for existing. You inspired a lot of people, including me” and “Thank you for being one of those who made me love electronic music - you guys don’t know how much you saved my life.”

Avicii’s father, Klas, thanked fans’ “amazing tributes” – which took place IRL everywhere from Coachella to Stockholm – earlier this month after receiving Song Of The Year award on behalf of his son for ‘Without You’.

It has been announced that a posthumous Avicii single featuring Coldplay’s Chris Martin could be on the horizon and Carl Falk, one of Avicii’s collaborators, has said he’s working on some unreleased songs.

Falk states: “I miss you hanging over my shoulder doubting every little thing and detail in the song.”

After Avicii's death, we wrote how the music industry should be held accountable for his death.

Post your tributes here.
