Artwork managed to get a Domino's delivered to his train carriage

He really, really wanted a pizza

While DJs get a rider at their gigs, they aren't always so privileged when travelling, as Artwork found out at the weekend.

We've all had that nightmare situation: boarding a long train journey, with no food or drink, only to find out there's nothing on offer on the carriages, either.

Exactly that happened to Artwork on Saturday when he jumped on a five-hour, Glasgow to Sheffield train on Saturday. Instead of holding out until he reached the Yorkshire city, he challenged Domino's Pizza - the Darlington branch, specifically - to deliver straight to his train carriage.

He kept Twitter updated throughout, picking up support from Eats Everything and Scuba, detailing how the "whole carriage is behind me" and saying the messages of support "means a lot".

After all the suspense and panic, the two delivery women casually strolled towards the train and handed over his dough-based trophy...a ham, mushroom, beef and pineapple pizza.

The best thing about it all? A food and drink trolley rolled straight past his seat as soon as the pizza turned up. That didn't stop him from doing it all again with Klose One the day after, though.
