Construction has never felt so groovy

French artist Benedetto Bufalino lit up what might usually be a regular old construction scene in the streets of Lyon, France for several days by bedazzling a cement mixer and transforming it into an unconventional disco ball.

The disco cement mixer was the newest installation from Bufalino, an artist known for his transformations of mundane and typical scenes into extraordinary art pieces. He has previously transformed cars into functional ping-pong tables and hot tubs and has also created a telephone booth aquarium.

The truck was visible as it sat on the streets from December 8 through 10, spinning and catching the eyes of passerbys and bringing a little disco cheer to the everyday.
