Aphex Twin shares coordinates for Manchester in new video teaser
AFX has something in store for Man City
Oh Aphex Twin, what do you have in store for us this time? Always one to favor cryptic messages, the artist has shared a new tripped out teaser in the style of his recent visual videos with the coordinates 53.4757 N - 2.2266 W and the date September 20, 2019.
The video, which is overlayed over an aerial view of Manchester from Google Earth, is to the track '1st 44' from his most recent Collapse EP. The announcement dropped right as Aphex Twin hit the airwaves for the WXAXRXP - a three-day NTS takeover to celebrate 30 years of Warp Records.
It was recently announced that Aphex Twin will be playing a headline show at London's Printworks venue on September 14, marking his first gig in the English capital since Field Day 2017.
