The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. Mixmag welcomed Andhim to The Lab NYC for a lighthearted affair through the many facets of house and techno.
The German duo of Andhim, aka Simon Haehnel and Tobias Müller, are amid the busiest moment in their career as a dance music powerhouse. Simon, now recovered from recently breaking his leg while filming the hilarious music video for ‘Super’, rejoins his partner on the road. Simon's accident left Tobias performing alone as Andhim (humorously, also as Justhim) for the first time in six years.
A freshly launched label, dubbed Superfriends, begs their attention as the release date of the inaugural 'Tosch' EP is fast approaching on December 5. With a new outlet for their shenanigans, expect Andhim to “continue their anti-intellectualism approach to everything they do".
No strangers to the bustling dance scene in NYC, Andhim return to headline at the Manhattan hotspot of Flash Factory on November 18. They’ve been gigging in the urban jungle for many years and are always a crowd favorite, delivering a steady mix of techno and house that stirs dancefloors into a relentless frenzy.
