ABSOLUTE. releases new single ‘Dämmerung’

London-based live artist, producer and DJ ABSOLUTE. has released his new single, ‘Dämmerung’.

Available via his own imprint Family Planning, the techno single also contains a ‘Neon Energy’ remix which has been dubbed an uptempo workout for dance-floor peak time.

Each of the tracks on the single are uplifting and percussive techno tunes - with their name literally meaning ‘twilight’ in German.

“I wanted to create something that feels like change,” ABSOLUTE. explains. “The dawn of a new day or that twilight hour where the world seems to glow in transition, or in a larger context, new starts in perpetually changing times, which bring with it new possibilities, new chances, hope and new life.”

The single emerges as an ideal transition into the early springtime with its pulsating and uplifting percussive techno elements.

ABSOLUTE. has been taking on the club scene most recently, with his lockdown-born mixtape ‘Wonderland’. The genre-defying debut was motivated by hope and equality: key values for the musician, who is a passionate activist for human rights with a track record of work supporting issues such as race, LGBTQI+ justice and climate.

He's also just announced his first ever music supervision at London Fashion Week, for Jack Irving's show.

Elsewhere, he’s played parties at Glastonbury, Printworks and fabric, whilst championing the LGBTQI+ rave community and committing to creating safe spaces for all.

Family Planning, ABSOLUTE.’s imprint, was founded five years ago, with the intention of expressing his passion for diverse dance music - being rebooted with the release of ‘Dämmerung’.
