One fan of Dr Who and analogue gear has taken it upon himself to convert a model of a Dalek into an Arduino synthesizer.

The producer, named Martin Orman, shared a demonstration via YouTube showing off his DIY creation. In the description, Orman explains he installed a synth written onto an ATMEGA 328 chip from the Arduino Uno clone he built.

The model of the Time Lord's arch-nemesis turned instrument runs on battery or a 9V DC adapter and boasts two mono outputs, with its productions recorded into Ableton 9 through a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8.

The creative also mentions he is happy to share full build instructions or make one for purchase.
