You can now get your hands on Moby's synths and turntables
All proceeds go to The Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine
Moby fans now have the opportunity to get their hands on some of the legendary artist’s equipment.
Partnering with online marketplace Reverb, the musician is selling over 100 pieces of equipment used on tour or in the studio throughout the course of his career.
The equipment ranges from synths, turntables and guitars that have huge sentimental value to the artist who has used it all throughout his extensive career.
Items up for sale include a Roland Jupiter-6 that Moby considers the “crown jewels” of his synth collection. He’ll also be parting with a 1980s Ibanez guitar, his primary live guitar from 1984 to 1998.
“This is the equipment I've used to make all my records,” Moby said of the gear that will be available in the shop. “I have so much equipment and almost all of it has profound sentimental value to me, including synthesizers I started using in the 80s.
"But rather than keep it all in storage, I want to sell it for a good cause.”
Proceeds from the sale of the equipment goes to The Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine.
The shop goes live on April 26.
