These are the tracks that made Distortion Festival killer
We made the trip to Copenhagen for Distortion Festival and here's a rundown of the tunes that made it so damn good
Boo Williams 'Teckno Drome'
One of many diamond tunes from Tom Trago and Bok Bok's back-to-back set in the Membrane Tent at Distortion Ø. Smooth like silk, sweet like candy and groovier than Austin Powers. Don't let the title fool you, what you get with this is some classic-sounding Chicago house.
Larry Heard presents Mr White 'The Sun Can't Compare'
Bar a few other tunes in between, Tom Trago and Bok Bok followed the above with this dreamy cut from Larry Heard. Seeing as they were bringing the tent to a close on the Friday, lush, cruising tunes like this were perfect. You can't really go wrong with this one, to be fair.
Brodinski 'Hector' feat Bricc Baby Shitro
You could say the French Bromance boss had a tough act to follow after a bunch of rowdy Danes went nuts to DJ Er Du Dum Eller Hvard at the Container Colosseum on Saturday. Nothing he couldn't handle, though, as he made his way through debut album 'Brava'. This hazardous techno weirdo ensured things weren't so contained anymore.
