Iglooghost joins a swarm of artists breathing colour back into music. At just 18 he’s had a handful of releases on Fly High Society, Activia Benz and his latest, the ‘Chinese Nü Yr’ EP, on Brainfeeder. The British producer has all the intricate technique of someone far more experienced, but his speedy garage by way of PC music feels inconceivable without his youthful vigour. Tracks like ‘Xiangjiao’ blast with jittering synths, and ‘Mametchi/Usohachi’ emerges into cosmic rap.
