Like Ella Eyre before her, Anne-Marie is the latest chart-ready vocalist to graduate from the Rudimental camp. The Essex-born singer, who describes her sound as a ‘fusion of electro, r’n’b, hip hop and pop’, has ignited stages worldwide with the Hackney troupe. But now the three-time karate world champion is going solo. Her single ‘Boy’, about the complexities of dating, is a throwback to ‘Smile’-era Lily Allen; her first London show sold out in 24 hours. Currently making an album due this summer, expect her to KO music in 2016.
