Contrary to belief, Ibiza isn't a one season island... and the sea of people amassing outside the iconic entrance of Amnesia for a late April knees-up certainly prove it. Pyramid, Amnesia's flagship party that takes place every Sunday, has become synonymous with the White Isle's "cooler" musical offering; the line-up regularly features a mixture of sharp-edged tech house, Berlin slam and old school Detroit and Chicago favourites — with nary an opportunity to fire up the San Rafael nightspot's CO2 cannon.

For this warm-up event, ahead of the actual Amnesia opening party which is set to go ahead in June, the crowd is made up primarily of party starved locals eager to get inside, with just a spatter of international punters trying to get their first taste of White Isle clubbing in before the Summer rush - or have snuck away from the festivities of the International Music Summit, which is taking place down the road in Talamanca.

During the evening, Luciano b2b Arapu, Cuartero and Layla Benitez appear on the Terraza — treating crowds to a lighter, house-focused offering compared to the room next for, the main room, which featured all-out techno from Amelie Lens, Klangkuenstler and more.
