Gottwood is celebrating a milestone 15th edition this year, and has pulled together its biggest festival yet, with a stacked line-up running across 10 stages, and most enticingly, a 24-hour music license.

The beloved Welsh festival is hosted in the picturesque grounds of the Carreglwyd country house, which is home to enchanting woodland and a lake, just a stone’s throw from the white sands of the North Welsh coastline.

Running across June 11 to 14, the line-up includes returning favourites such as Jane Fitz, Eris Drew b2b Octa Octa, Margret Dygas, Sonja Moonear and Conducta, with festival debutants including Christian AB, Paquita Gordon, MPH and Samuel Deep. You can also explore a range of wellness experiences, from sound healing to yoga, and a floating restaurant in between the dancing.

It’s set to be an emotional occasion for the independent festival, which has successfully weathered tempestuous industry conditions since launching in 2010 to reach this landmark edition. “For 15 years we've overcome many challenges and it’s taken a lot of resilience to reach this milestone which feels like a real moment to celebrate for us,” says Director Tom Carpenter. “We believe this year really showcases the very best of what Gottwood has to offer and we can not wait to show everyone how we are evolving in this exciting new era for the festival.”

A highlight among the scheduled festivities is the Semi Delicious crew returning for their third stage takeover on Thursday. Founded in 2019 by Demi Riquísimo, the London-based imprint has become a home for irresistible house music tailored to maximum vibes on the dancefloor. This year the label head will be playing B2B with The Trip, preceded by Jennifer Loveless and Samwise b2b T. Jacques for a day-into-night takeover at the Trigon. The stage is all about unbridled atmosphere, setting the mood with the impressive visuals of its recognisable triangular structure and lasers.

Ahead of the occasion, we asked each artist to share their ultimate festival track with us. Check them out below.

Chosen by: T. Jacques
Troydon ‘Get Up’

“This one from Troydon works great in those sunshine hours when the party’s getting in flow and everyone’s starting to loosen up. One of those simple, hypnotic grooves that keeps you locked to the floor, with the resonating, filtered synths adding a bit of spice and quirkiness without being too overpowering or distracting.”

Chosen by: Samwise
Pearl ‘Love Peace Joy’ (Tommy Musto Dub)

“Totally love slinging this timeless Italian record from Pearl, released in 1997 via Suntune. For me, it’s the Tommy Musto Dub that really does the trick and always gets the dancefloor going. With its sexy vocal choppy hook and raw infectious groove, this is NYC deep house at its absolute finest, and I can’t wait to bring this energy for our four-hour Trigon Stage B2B kickoff with my good friend T. Jacques.”

Chosen by: Jennifer Loveless
Phoenix G ‘You’ve Been Hit’

“An old favourite of mine I think works perfectly in a festival setting. Understated yet driving, is the mood!”

Chosen by: Demi Riquísimo
Branaccio & Aisher ‘It’s Gonna Be…A Lovely Day’ (B M Club Mix)

“An oldie, but coming back into the sets. It’s perfect for festivals and it works regardless of set time.”

Chosen by: The Trip
Mark Van Dale With Enrico ‘Movin' Piano Groovin'’

“One track we can’t wait to play is Mark Van Dale’s ‘Movin’ Piano Groovin’’. It's dreamy and Balearic, but with enough drive to keep a festival dancefloor moving, and just the right dose of euphoria.”
