5 Noel vs Avicii & Guetta

In the same NME interview (see above) Noel didn't just subtly par off Deadmau5. He gave Avicii and David Guetta a quick kicking as well. He had no idea who Avicii even was and stated he "didn't wish to know anything about him" either. After asking if he was "like that David Guetta nonsense" he went on to say how fans at the festival needn't worry about the festival as he would "take care of it".

Lad. Noel you get a point: 3-2

6 Noel vs The Chemical Brothers

Back in 1996, The Chemical Brothers released their second album 'Dig Your Own Hole' and within the seminal dance LP was a track called 'Setting Sun'. The classic banger featured none-other than Noel Gallagher on vocals. Yep, Noel has collaborated with one of the greatest electronic acts of all time. Further to that, he invited The Chems to come and play at Knebworth at their gig in the same year. Now that's what you call two worlds colliding.

We're going to offer a point for each: 4-3

Final score: Noel 4, Dance music 3

It's official, Noel beats dance music with a combination of wit, balls and generally not giving a fuck about what people think.
