Never forget: Eight DJs recall their favourite Space Ibiza memories
As we gear up to say farewell to Space Ibiza, DJs tell us their special moments from the club

"One of the most outstanding memories is when I did a meet and greet just before I played for Carl Cox and there was a couple. The guy came to me and said, 'it's a secret, but I'm going to propose to my girlfriend.' I was like 'erm, OK'. It's obviously a very intimate moment. He proposed backstage to her and I was so scared but excited at the same time. I was thinking, 'what will she say? Will it be yes? Will she say no?' Luckily, she said yes. I was almost shaking. It could've gone wrong. They were both big fans of mine so he wanted to do it before I played at Space. That was a very unique moment and I had tears in my eyes when she said yes. She was crying, she was crying. Everybody was crying."

"Being at one of Coxy’s Music Is Revolution nights at Space is a moment in itself. I played quite a few of them over the years but my Space moment comes from my visit there in 2010 playing the covered terrace. I decided to play an old-skool house set - any excuse to drop tunes I haven’t played in 23 years on that system. Carl wondered into the room mid-set and jumped on the mic. It’s not every day you have Carl Cox MCing for you, so that's definitely my Space moment. Thanks MC Coxy for the Space memories and experiences. Love ya brother!"
