Carl Craig

"I think my fondest memory is when Carl [Cox] used to have a rocket man in the middle of the stage that used to walk around on stilts and have lights on. They had fireworks firing out of his ass. When I first played for Carl and saw that, that was my high point of being in Space. I also did my Detroit Love party there last year. Playing there with Luciano was great. Unfortunately I don't have a crazy story about getting lost in Space, though!"

Francesca Lombardo

"My favourite memory was when I went to see Aphex Twin in the main room. I walked into the room and was right in the middle of it and it was just amazing. I was surrounded by very old-skool ravers. It was like a next-level experience because I had never seen him before and I think he gets followed by a lot of old ravers, basically. It took me back to 15 years before, when I just got to London and used to go to these raves. The music and his DJing were amazing. That's the moment I remember the best and touched me more than anything else.

"Another time, at the end of the night, I left the club by mistake when trying to find the next room. I was by myself going to see where my friends were. I ended up going outside the venue, but if you leave in the last hour, you can't go back in. I went back to the door and I saw this guy thinking he was a bouncer. I started to say 'please, please let me in'. This guy's just talking to me like he was a bouncer. At the end, my friends came out and were asking who I was talking to, laughing. It turns out it was Martin Buttrich. He was just playing with me. I've never spoken to him about it before, but we are actually in touch. We became friends after it happened, but I've never told him."
