Mixmag music round up: May

Mixes
Impact: Peggy Gou
South-Korean Peggy Gou has been making a serious stamp on dance music with her infectious EPs on Rekids and Phonica. She's also had a steady string of gigs around the world, including a headline set at the soon-to-be closed Dance Tunnel and one coming up at Panorama Bar in a few weeks. Her Impact mix showcased razor-sharp house, disco, techno and a bit of acid for good measure.
In Session: Dax J
Techno's got a new leading light and his name's Dax J. The young selector has been bruising his way round soundsystems the world over and his productions are equally as face-melting. Not much needs to be said about this mix other than it's ferocious and may blow your mind more than once before the hour is up.
In Session: ItaloJohnson
Dance music's most elusive act finally entered the In Session ranks and boy was it a belter. An hour and a half of house, techno and acid, mixed perfectly in a high-octane vinyl showdown. We can't really say much about them because we just don't know it. The music speaks for itself though, trust us.
