Kove

The path of Kove's career changed dramatically when the drum 'n' bass producer was snapped up by Andy C

Although the link-up with the legendary d'n'b selector didn't assign him to the books of his label RAM Records, his 'Iodine'/'Open Ground' was signed to RAM sub-label Program. And how things rocketed from there.

The bulky, mechanical 'Iodine' was included on Andy C's July 2012 Mixmagcover CD followed by an invitation to play at RAM's 20th birthday celebrations at Fabric alongside the likes of Chase and Status, Bryan Gee, Wilkinson, Break and Calyx & Teebee.

It wasn't easy to get there, though. It took him six years to get his first official release - 'Stellar'/'Breach' on Matrix & Futurebound's Viper Recordings - but he's been on fire over the last year and half with no signs of being extinguished just yet.

Another Program release came in the form of 'Gone'/'Airlock' at the tail end of 2012 before the soulful roller 'Searching' ended up in the possession of Chase and Status. The track led to his second inclusion on a MixmagCD when the duo appeared on the cover of March last year and was swiftly signed to their label MTA Records.

With recent MTA release 'Way We Are' picking up support from the likes of Toddla T, Annie Mac and Mistajam and DJ sets lined up at Creamfields, Amnesia and New York's Electric Zoo, Kove's onslaught is showing no signs of stopping.

That's exactly why we've pulled him in for an In Session. Logistics, Commix, Fred V & Grafix and My Nu Leng all feature, making for a tumultuous swirl of d'n'b and straight up bangers.
