Our DJs choose their favourite marathon sets

Danny Tenaglia on Tony Humphries "I remember being at Zanzibar, and being there the whole night listening to him, he's such a master."

Kim Ann Foxman on DJ Garth "I saw him in the mid-nineties in San Francisco. I loved all the Wicked Crew parties he was involved in. I miss those times!"

Laura Jones on Ricardo Villalobos and Sven Vath "I can't count how many times I've seen VIllalobos play epic marathon sets. He is definitely one of the masters. Sven Vath's set next to a pirate ship in Ibiza at one of the Cocoon afters in the 2000s when he finished with a track called 'Small Pebbled Forest' wearing a record sleeve as a hat was another highlight."

Marcel Fengler on Donato Dozzy "His closing at Labyrinth in Japan had this spiritual air about it. I'm not usually someone who's big into the spiritual thing, but somehow that set got under my skin - some of the audience was even teary-eyed by the end of it."

Sasha on Danny Tenaglia "His sets at Winter Music Conference were always special. You'd go and get lost in the music for 12 hours."

Virginia on Steffi & ND Baumecker "They played at Panorama Bar earlier this year. That meant 9 hours of dancing for me and listening to so many different musical genres and a quality selection."
