The complete guide to OFFSónar 2024

Sónar Festival is just around the corner, meaning we’re just a few weeks away from the return of its sister event OFFSónar. The multi-day party series runs in conjunction with the Barcelona-based festival and, this year, OFFSónar heads back to Poble Espanyol — an open-air museum at the foot of the Montjuïc mountain where multiple parties are set to take place each day throughout the festival. Kicking off on Thursday (June 13) and concluding on Sunday (June 16), each event will run from 5:PM until 2:AM — just a short walk from Sónar Festival’s day location.

OFFSónar welcomes back four fan-favourite stages this year, from the expanse of outdoor stages Carpa & Picnic and Plaza Mayor, to the stunning Monasterio stage overlooking Barcelona, and finally the intimate secret stage Upload Room. This year, OFFSónar welcomes artists from all over the globe, including DESIREE, Adriatique, Sonja Moonear, Seth Troxler, Saoirse, PAWSA, Dennis Cruz, and plenty more.

‘X’ by Adriatique at Plaza Mayor:

Swiss duo Adriatique bring their immersive party experience, X, to Poble Espanyol’s Plaza Mayor on OFFSónar’s opening day. The line-up, curated by Adriatique themselves, includes techno and house stalwarts such as Yulia Niko, Marino Canal, and a hybrid DJ set from Who Made Who.

Brunch Electronik at Monasterio and Carpa & Picnic:

Ahead of Brunch Electronik’s three-day festival in Barcelona this August, the event series stops off at OFFSónar with a one-off open-air event bringing together artists like La Journée B2B Pole Position, Lyke, Nora En Pure, Mathame, Bedouin, Jan Blomqvist, Layla Benitez, and Ageless. Taking place at Monasterio & Carpa Picnic, two of Poble Espanyol’s three outdoor stages, Brunch Electronik prides itself on “inclusivity, diversity, and respect”.

Solid Grooves at Plaza Mayor & Monasterio:

UK tech house label Solid Grooves takes over Plaza Mayor and Monasterio all day on Friday in celebration of its 10th anniversary. After a decade of hosting famed parties all over the world, Solid Grooves brings its regular selectors including Dennis Cruz B2B Seth Troxler, JAMIE, Silvie Loto B2B Ben Sterling, ANOTR, Pawsa, and Damian Lazarus to this two-stage OFFSónar takeover.

CRUE at Plaza Mayor:

German record label Keinemusik continues its titanic year with a takeover of Poble Espanyol’s Plaza Mayor on Saturday with a line-up including acts from its beloved roster, including FKA Mash, Desiree, &ME, Rampa, Adam Port. Expect to be taken on a “sonic journey” through house, techno, and Afro house.

FUSE at Monasterio:

London promoters FUSE bring a special showcase to the Monasterio stage on Saturday with a stacked bill traversing everything from minimal to deep house and experimental. Here you’ll find the likes of Laidlaw, Apollonia, Enzo Siragusa, and a back-to-back set from minimal expert Sonja Moonear and trUst Records label boss Saoirse.

Elrow at Poble Espanyol:

To close out OFFSónar’s final day, Elrow takes over all four stages at Poble Espanyol. Amongst the 20+ names announced for the day-long event is Paco Osuna, De La Swing, James Hype, Fatima Hajji, Øtta, Andres Louzao, Melanie Ribbe, Latmun b2b Iglesias, and plenty more, offering a deep dive through house and groove.
