1 Denis Sulta 'It's Only Real'

'It's Only Real' is the track that crosses Denis Sulta over to a wider audience. Six minutes of percussive techno goodness, this melodic jam would have surely come out on Soma back in the day.

2 Friend Within 'The Run'

Friend Within has had a great couple of seasons, his mix of 'Renegade Master' still killing it for Carl Cox even now. And this forthcoming hip house release – which cannily takes inspiration from Run DMC and Black Box alike – continues that killer run.

3 Peggy Gou 'Troop' (Galcher Lustwerk remix)

It's a warm welcome back to Big Tunes for Radio Slave's Rekids imprint as it releases this excellent three-track EP from the South Korean DJ/producer now based in Berlin. Galcher's Detroit-ish mix of 'Troop' is ace, as are the originals.

4 Dense & Pika 'Colt' (George FitzGerald remix)

It's all about the simple piano motif and cascading melody here, with George FitzGerald delivering a smart, subtle remix of 'Colt' that already sounds like a future classic. Hotflush's remix series continues to impress.

5 Lauren Lane 'Diary Of A Madwoman'

Edible's second release is by Lauren Lane, who impressed an audience including Pet Shop Boys at her Lab LDN debut. This cheeky instrumental jam is a definite earworm.

6 Patrick Topping & Green Velvet 'Shining'

Sometimes new artist collabs fit like hand in glove, and Patrick's link with Green 'Cajmere' Velvet is just that. If you loved 'Bigger Than Prince', these wonky synths and trippy vocals are just what the doctor ordered.

7 Pirupa 'Ray Of Light'

Absolutely no messing about here, with Italian DJ/producer Pirupa's InTec debut melding a tough, percussive framework to a piano that sounds as though it could break into 'Sweet Harmony' at any moment. And just wait for the drop.

8 Tiga 'Don't Break My Heart' (Deetron remix)

Originally premiered on Mixmag's Apple Music channel, Tiga's unique sound has come around again, and his new LP features Hudson Mohawke no less. We're big fans of Deetron here.

9 Shanti Celeste & Funkineven 'SSS'

Bristolian Shanti Celeste has been in Big Tunes before, but now she's back with production buddy Funkineven for eight minutes of raw, instrumental electro-tech with just the right amount of Aphex-style chord play. For the heads.

10 Masters C & J feat Liz Torres 'Don't Let Love Pass You By'

If you saw D'Julz when he played the Lab LDN recently, you'll know how this one went down. D'Julz has been trying to license and re-release this jam for aeons, and now he's done it with a house vocal that Danny Tenaglia fave Liz Torres smashes out the park.
