Ever wondered about the creative process behind some of the world’s greatest artists? When it comes to creative inspiration, there’s no rhyme or reason to what makes us tick. Some might thrive on isolation, while others find their fuel in other people - but something we do know is that everyone is different. Whatever your creative process amounts to, we’re sure it’s something to shout about. We’ve teamed up with vape brand Vuse for another episode of Making Your Mark, a series that champions diversity and creativity with DJs from around the globe at the forefront.

Throughout the series, we’re catching up with artists and producers to discover what influences them creatively, how they spend their time in the lead up to a gig, and what makes their home particularly special. Vuse is spotlighting emerging creative talent, supporting artists and encouraging them to push the boundaries within the creative community.

In the latest episode, we caught Napoli-based producer Anfisa Letyago, the fast-rising DJ with a distinct appetite for techno. Anfisa gives us a tour of the Italian city and a rundown on how she spends her time after a “heavy weekend”, waking up early, doing exercise, writing, and finding her creative process through the city’s picturesque views. “It helps me a lot to free myself, to clear my mind,” she says. “It gives me the energy to produce music. When you go outside your comfort zone, it can inspire you.”

“Napoli is a city with huge energy,” says Anfisa, who takes us to the city’s Old Town to explore what she calls “the real identity of Napoli”. In the lead up to her gig at Duel Club, the place she played her first-ever show some 10 years ago, Anfisa says: “I can combine the energy of the club with the energy of Napoli”.
