The line-up for Glastonbury's dance arena dropped this week.

Silver Hayes boasts a number of stages, from impressive rave tent WOW to Mungo's HiFi-powered hang out The Gully, and is the part of the festival where you can go full rampage to house, techno and, to use a catch-all term, bass music.

If you're into dance music you'll no doubt find yourself at Silver Hayes at some point during Glasto weekend. Alongside the Block9 area, it's the place where you'll rave hardest on Worthy Farm, so here's 10 of the worthiest DJs to go and see (in no particular order, of course).

1 Ivy Lab

This London trio's 20/20 party is one of our favourites in the capital right now. Feisty, swagger-soaked bass is the order of the night, switching between halftime drum 'n' bass, footwork and wonky hip hop instrumentals. We've rolled down to the mid-weeker loads of times but still keep enduring the Thursday hangover just to be treated to some floor-shaking belters on a Wednesday night. We know they've got it in 'em to throw it down at a festival, too, after catching them three times at Outlook Festival in Croatia last year.

Though they've stole a few hearts with liquid d'n'b like this, we'd put money on their 20/20 sound being the one they go with at Glasto. So prepare yourself for bangers like this.

2 Madam X

Madam X has been holding things down for a minute now.

As a DJ, she's been pioneering the rhythmic, techy, bass-heavy sound of the UK underground and as the boss of Kaizen records, she's been actively cultivating it too, putting out drops from Biome and Silas & Snare (with more to come). There's also a Kaizen Klub party, currently based in London.

This activity is testament to Madam X's work rate and creativity but also her ear for fucking good new music. Like we said, she's been the lightning rod for an emerging UK sound for a minute now. Go see her to experience a hard-hitting but bashy (and fun) selection of tunes. The next Kaizen party is on May 28 in LDN if you need to whet your appetite.

3 Levelz

This Manchester lot can be summed up with three Rs: rowdy, raucous and rambunctious. In their energetic, super-charged shows, you'll get a bit of d'n'b, dubstep and hip hop from the crew, made up of DJs Rich Reason and Jonny Dub and Chimpo, Chunky, Biome, Skittles, Dub Phizix, Fox, Sparkz, Strategy, Black Josh, Konny Kon, T-Man, Walton and Werkha. See what we mean about the rowdiness? There's loads of 'em!

Describing themselves as "a generation of Mancunian musicians and artists coming together to do some badass shit," they're champions of MCR's dance music scene at the moment and yet another branch of the north west city's talent-swelling musical family tree. Trust us: the Levelz are very high.

4 Moxie

Moxie has risen through the ranks thanks to her superlative taste in house and techno.

The Londoner is a resident on NTS Radio and can often be spotted hopping over to Radio 1. She uses her time on air to interview figures such as Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills as well as inviting the likes of Julio Bashmore and Tom Trago on for guest mixes.

Her set at Glasto will be a guaranteed good time and lands during a big year for her: she recently put out her second comp and started her own roaming party series, On Loop.

5 Palms Trax

Jay Donaldson has somewhat exploded onto the scene. After a few stellar releases via London label Lobster Theremin, he made the move to Dekmantel and the Dutch imprint has become a home for his super-fun brand of house.

If his productions are what got him noticed, then his DJ sets are what have kept him in the spotlight. Whether it's house or techno, disco or soul, Palms Trax blends it with ease and he's a joy to watch. A highlight of last year's Dekmantel, he played two hours of sheer brilliance and even gave Four Tet a run for his money in terms of spectacle. Although the Silver Hayes line-up is booming, Palms Trax needs to be on your radar. Don't sleep.

6 Amy Becker

Amy Becker is charging around the London underground at the moment.

She champions the frenetic club music coming out of the city (and indeed, the UK), deploying tracks by the likes of Murlo, Rushmore and Gage. And she's also started her own party, Acrylic, to keep pushing the cause, inviting risers like Kamixlo and AJ Tracey to hot up a Dalston basement.

She also hosts a ferocious show on Radar Radio, bringing on guests like Ikonika and Nightwave to help her keep the airwaves sizzling with energy. Her Glasto set will definitely be one for the dancing crew (like, proper dancing, not just skulking around).

7 Barely Legal

Barely Legal’s sets are eclectic, but the central strand that ties her selections together is the explosive power of each track. She came down to play the Mixmag Lab earlier this month and threw down one of our favourite sets of the year, drawing for bass-driven bangers from the likes of Pearson Sound and Evian Christ, grime classics from Ruff Sqwad, Baltmore Club Music’s anthemic ‘I Just Wanna Fuck’ and even some Snoop Dogg for good measure. Glastonbury is one of the biggest parties in the world and Barely Legal’s set will be at the centrepoint as one of the festival’s best atmospheres.

8 Siobhan Bell

One scroll through Siobhan Bell's Instagram account will make you want to drop it all in order to become a touring DJ.

The Londoner is constantly playing in mouthwatering locations, using her on-point knowledge of rap, r'n'b and club as a passport to playing the sickest parties in the world.

She reps her hometown well enough though, having held down an NTS Radio show for time and putting some of LDN's best parties on as part of the PDA collective. There's also her own Cherryade rave.

A prolific DJ thanks to the way she'll light up any dancefloor with a constant stream of bangers, Siobhan Bell will be the DJ you'll want to turn up to in style at Glasto.

9 DJ Premier

Preemo is not only one of the most legendary producers in hip hop history with a host of seminal albums as one half of Gang Starr and beats on records from the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, D’Angelo and The Notorious B.I.G under his belt, he also remains one of the best DJs in the game. Energy courses through his sets from the irresistible beats he spins and scratches to his free use of the mic to incite hype more fervently than many dedicated MCs ever can. Put simply he’s one of the best to ever do it and his sets are always wild and unmissable affairs.

10 Four Tet

With literally hundreds of acts to choose from at Glastonbury, navigating the musical landscape can be a tricky procedure but if there's one thing we've learned over the last few years, it's that Four Tet is an absolute festival dead-cert.

At Glasto last year he demolished the already run-down Block9 arena in the darkness and at Dekmantel he played one of the sets of the weekend on the main stage with the sun beaming down. The best thing is that he never plays the same set twice and although you can always expect him to drop a few of his classic tracks, there's always a sprinkling of curveballs for good measure.

Hearing him play 'Muryani' by Eric Prydz at Dekmantel was a stroke of genius and when he steps up in the Silver Hayes area this year, we're awaiting similarly epic results.
