Yves Tumor shares single ‘Parody’ from upcoming album ahead of Friday release

‘Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds)’ will be released via Warp Records

Yves Tumor has dropped a new single ‘Parody’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds)’, which is due to be released on Friday (March 17).

Released today (March 15), ‘Parody’ is a soaring ballad, taking in elements of post-punk, rock and electronica, and is the third single the avant-garde singer has released from their upcoming album, after ‘Echolalia’ and ‘Heaven Surrounds Us Like A Hood’.

‘Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds)’ will be released via Warp Records, and will be Tumor’s fifth studio album, following 2015’s ‘When Man Fails You’, 2016’s ‘Serpent Music’, 2018’s ‘Safe in the Hands of Love’ and their most recent album ‘Heaven to a Tortured Mind’, released in 2020.

The album is produced by Noah Goldstein, who has worked with the likes of Frank Ocean, ROSALÍA, Drake and Rihanna, and mixed by Alan Moulder, who has worked on albums for the likes of Moby, Gary Numan and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

They will also be undertaking a world tour starting in April at Coachella Festival, with 23 dates scheduled across the USA and Canada, and currently 14 shows confirmed in the EU and UK.

Support for the shows will come from Pretty Sick, Nation, Izzy Spears and Frost Children.
