Wu Tang Clan's RZA and Pharrell Williams have been nominated for Emmys.
RZA's nomination comes in the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music For a Documentary Series or Special category for Hulu show Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

Pharrell, along with Neptunes partner Chad Hugo, got their nomination in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category. Their 'Letter to My Godfather' was used in The Black Godfather, a documentary about music executive Clarence Avant.

Jazz musician Kamasi Washington also picked up a nomination for the Michelle Obama Netflix documentary Becoming, while Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are up for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series/Movie for their score on Watchmen.
