Woman shares firsthand account of her underage sexual relationship with R. Kelly
Jerhonda Pace became one of the artists partners after witnessing his child pornography court trials
A new feature published via Buzzfeed today sheds new, troubling light on the ongoing allegations against R. Kelly.
The piece centers around a newly surfaced, extremely detailed narrative of Jerhonda Pace's personal experiences as one of the R'n'b star's underage sexual partners.
Pace was an R. Kelly superfan growing up, whose relationship with him started after she had attended his infamous court proceedings involving a video of him having intercourse with and urinating in the mouth of a 14-year old girl.
The article continues to detail Pace's first encounters with Kelly: at private parties and meetings he personally coordinated, in which the underage teen would consume alcohol and lose her virginity to the artist.
Upon their first sexual interaction, Pace allegedly told Kelly she was 19-years old. She confirmed in 2009 that she showed the singer her ID, which clearly stated she was 16.
Over time the two's sexual and abusive relationship would continue; Pace was often video taped without consent, forced to blackmail and lie to her family and asked to engage in group sex. She also recalls seeing the girl from the infamous video Kelly was tried for at one of his parties.
Pace's feature also cites repeated, troubling accounts of young women filing charges against R. Kelly only to be paid undisclosed amounts and dropping their cases, some including attempted suicide and abortion.
Jerhonda admits to accepting a settlement and signing a nondisclosure, agreeing to halt any charges or claims against Kelly.
Although the feature at hand has violated said agreement, Pace says she has decided to come forth hoping to help young girls who are in the same situation she in was years ago.
R. Kelly has continued to deny all allegations against him.
