FlyLo soundtracks trials of love
The trailer for the Flying Lotus scored documentary ‘LoveTrue’ has arrived ahead of its debut next week.
The documentary, which is directed by Alma Har'el and executive produced by Shia LaBeouf, features some original material from Flying Lotus. The trailer casts as spectral light on subjects of love, youth and the darker events that can occur in the intersection of the two. From what can be heard, Flying Lotus is in fine form, flexing his jazz chops with swinging time signatures and woozy keyboard work.
This isn't FlyLo's first foray into scoring films. Previously, he provided the soundtrack to a dark short called 'Fuckkkyouuu', which is available to stream online.
‘LoveTrue’ is to be released on April 15 at the Tribeca Film Festival.
