Poland’s Up To Date Festival to celebrate 15th anniversary with Sandwell District, Polygonia, Wata Igarashi

Up To Date Festival will hold its 15th edition at a secret location in Białystok, Poland, across May 29 to 31.

The first names set to play have been revealed, featuring Laksa, Polygonia, Rrose, Sandwell District, DMX Krew, Slimzee, Peder Mannerfelt, Private Press, SHXCXCHCXSH, Wata Igarashi, Ogazón, and many more.

Helsinki’s Flow Festival reveals second wave announcement

Flow Festival has announced its second wave of artist announcements for 2025, with the likes of FKA twigs, Little Simz, Underworld, Air, Yung Lean & Bladee joining the bill.

They join already announced international headline acts such as Charli xcx, Fontaines D.C., Joy Orbison, Avalon Emerson, Kneecap and Bicep.

A strong showing of Finnish talent is also set to feature, including Turisti, Mirella, Lyttä & Tohtori Getto and Ruusut, whose Flow set marks a summer exclusive.

The festival takes place at the Suvilahti power plant in Helsinki, Finland, across August 8 to 10.

MUTEK set to “embark on a new cycle” for 26th Montréal edition

MUTEK has announced plans for its 26th edition in Montréal across August 19 to 20 this summer.

A press release explains: “More motivated than ever to position Montréal as an epicenter of digital creation, bringing together and accompanying artistic communities from here and abroad, MUTEK invites music aficionados, art and culture enthusiasts, residents and tourists to a new sensory expedition of six days and nights of inspiring discoveries in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles.”

Artists to perform include Slikback, Bergsonist, Al Wootton, Aurora Halal, Martyn Bootyspoon, Loidis, Nicola Cruz, Yu Su, Bitter Babe, Ma Sha and Max Cooper presents Lattice 3D/AV.

Sonoluma festival lines up two weekends of events in Copenhagen

Overtone Sound Collective and B612 are joining forces to organise Sonoluma, a five-day festival in Copenhagen spread across two weekends.

Hosted at Refshaleøen in the Danish capital across April 24 to 26 and May 2 to 3, the festival blends electronic music, immersive visual art and creative workshops.

Al Wootton, Martinou and Zara are among the international headliners, with Copenhagen acts such as Muskila, Deck Riders and Teison also on the bill.

Junction 2 unveils third wave line-up for 2025

London's Junction 2 has announced the third wave line-up for its next edition, set to take place at Boston Manor Park from July 25 - 27.

Promising to bring the "spectrum of contemporary dance music" together, this year's bill includes DJ Boring, Francesco Del Garda B2B Jane Fitz, PARAMIDA, EFFY, Cameo Blush, Erol Alkan, and many more.

A Friday headline act will be announced in May. Current headliners include 999999999 (who will perform live), BASHKKA, D. Tiffany, and Amber Broos.

Slovenia's Butik Festival completes 2025 bill

Butik, due to go ahead from July 9 - 13 in Tolmin, Slovenia, has completed its 2025 line-up.

This year's edition includes the likes of Eris Drew, livwutang, Peach, and Sedef Adasï, with debuts from Christian AB, Josey Rebelle, DJ MARIA., Sugar Free, and many more.

Butik will also welcome back-to-back sets from CCL and Priori, Verraco and Pariah, John Talabot and Ryan Elliott, and more.

Austria’s Paradies Garten returns for fourth edition with horsegiirL, Moodymann, and more

Paradies Garten – billed as one of the world’s “most sustainable music festivals” – returns to Bruck an der Leitha in Austria this summer for its fourth edition.

The first wave line-up for this year’s event has been revealed, including the likes of horsegiirL, Moodymann, Estella Boersma, Héctor Oaks, Kikelomo, Patrick Mason, Inteplanetary Criminal, and more, with many still yet to be announced.

Paradies Garten 2025 goes ahead from August 1 - 3, promising “three sun-drenched dancefloors, breathtaking designs, and top-tier sound & light productions”.
