David Guetta showcases new "Eminem" track created using AI
The French DJ/producer has assured fans the "Emin-AI-em" track would not be released commercially
David Guetta has used AI software to add Eminem to one of his tracks.
Showcasing it at one of his shows, Guetta played out the AI-generated voice of Eminem saying: “This is the future rave sound, I’m getting awesome and underground”.
The DJ and producer shared a video of this moment on his Twitter with the caption: “Let me introduce you to… Emin-AI-em” and replied in the thread that “obviously” the edit won’t be released commercially.

The video continues to Guetta explaining off-stage how he had first made “Emin-AI-em” explaining: “There’s something that I made as a joke and it worked so good. I could not believe it.”
Using AI websites, he was able to create the voice and then make that voice read lyrics that were also AI-generated.
He adds: “People went nuts.”
Last year, a track which includes a human-like AI vocal surpassed 100 million streams according to its creator, Tencent Music Entertainment (TME).

The China-based company told Music Business Worldwide that it has created and released over 1000 tracks with AI vocals that mimics the human voice.
Translated to English the track named ‘Today’ has become “the first song by an AI singer to be streamed over 100 million times across the internet” TME claims.
Recently for David Guetta, he was nominated for a Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the GRAMMYs this year for his track, ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ which heavily samples the 1998 ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’ by Italian electronic trio Eiffel 65.
