Vibe Killers - 6/10

Mark and Mickey Horsey, aka Vibe Killers, have previously dropped solid cuts on Sinnmusik, Celesta Recordings and Audiowhore Records as well as on their own Killer Vibe label.

The title track from their ‘Control Freak’ EP has solid drums, a spooky vocal line and fluid hi-hats. ‘Medium Rare’, meanwhile, isn’t just the only way you should have your steak: it’s another deep house jam complete with wild sine waves, detuned vocals and lively percussion.

It’s remixed by Catwash label boss and Circo Loco regular DJ W!ld, too, trundling along with a cheeky vocal sample.
