Fully-vaccinated Brits will no longer have to isolate when returning from amber list countries on July 19
140 amber list destinations are now easily accessible for the double-jabbed
Those returning from amber list countries will not have to quarantine after return, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has announced.
Spain, France, Portugal and a host of other countries will now be open to fully-vaccinated Britons, who will now only have to take a PCR test on day two of their return to the UK. COVID tests will still have to be taken before travel also.

A full vaccination is defined by the fact that “14 days have passed since your final dose of the vaccine” Shapps said.
"In essence, this means that for fully vaccinated travellers the requirements for green and amber list countries are the same," He continued.
Both jabs have to be administered by the NHS. Scotland and Wales are also considering changing their rules to coincide with England’s regulations.
The government won’t advise travellers not to travel to amber list countries after July 19 also.

The next review of England’s traffic light system will take place on July 15. As it stands there are less than 30 destinations that are on the government’s green list - this means that self-isolation is mandatory for a large number of destinations.
The news comes after Ibiza has put in place a number of new restrictions to tackle the increase in COVID cases that the region is currently facing.
The government will confirm whether all restrictions will be lifted on July 19, pending a review of COVID data.
