Dave Clarke is easily one of the most lauded names in techno and his teaming up with Mr Jones is a no-holds-barred match made in heaven. They first released together as _Unsubscribe_ via Houndstooth in 2013 but now they make the jump to Boysnoize Records, one of our favourite labels.

While the original tracks on the EP are undoubtedly techno, ‘Penultimate’ in particular being an absolute fucking stormer, there’s a Jensen Interceptor remix that provides some electro enjoyment.

The increasingly-impressive Australian is the only person on the EP to include a snare on a track, meaning his edit of ‘The Opener’ is marginally the most accessible on the record. Saying that it’s still gnarly as fuck and should be approached with caution.
