Thundercat makes his acting debut on Star Wars' Boba Fett series

Thundercat has made his acting debut in the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, a Disney+ Star Wars series.

Credited as Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner, the musician appears in Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm as a body-modification artist.

His television debut follows the many singles that he has contributed, as well as his acting credits for music videos.

As described in ScreenRant, Thundercat plays a Mod Parlor technician who saved Fennec Shand's life by modifying her to be half-droid in a flashback.

His character managed to get a great line in during the episode; when Boba Fett inquired whether he would seal Fennec up, he replied quickly and proudly of his work: "And cover all that beautiful machinery?"

Thundercat's soundtrack contributions include his recent song 'Satellite' for Issa Rae's HBO series Insecure and contributions to the soundtrack of the revamped ThunderCats animation.

Fans of the show were quick to spot his appearance and have made memes on Twitter.

Someone tweeted: "I heard a dope beat while watching @bobafett and all I can think is, Shazam isn’t going to have it but the beat is amazing. Then who decides to pop up on the screen and make sense of everything?@Thundercat. How can u not love this guy?"

It is currently unknown whether he contributed towards the score for the episode or not.

Thundercat has collaborated with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Haim, and Childish Gambino while simultaneously establishing a successful solo career.
