On October 26, one of of techno's most prolific and inspiring artists, Sven Väth, turned 50 and to celebrate he took over Time Warp for an extra special birthday party at Maimarkthalle in Mannheim, Germany. Alongside Richie Hawtin, Luciano, DJ Koze and Alex Azary, Väth mesmerised and stunned the 15,000 capacity crowd until 9am with some of the most breathtaking visuals, lights and music that we've ever known. A-games were brought all by all.
A birthday like no other, Time Warp acted as true testament to the stamp that Papa Sven has left on dance music. These are the tracks that caused the most damage and that were met with deafening cheers. The full set can be heard at the bottom of the page.
