IMS Ibiza's line-up at Dalt Vila is a contender for the island's best this year

A fine way to round off the International Music Summit

IMS Ibiza's annual party at Dalt Vila, in association with Pioneer DJ, returns on May 25, with Sven Väth, Nastia (pictured), Peggy Gou and Jackmaster among those playing.

The party at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which overlooks Ibiza Old Town, also welcomes Dubfire, IMS co-founder Pete Tong, Paco Osuna, Guy Gerber, Danny Tenaglia, Bedouin and Andrea Oliva. Furkan Kart, the winner of 2017's Burn Residency will open proceedings.

Further announcements, including back-to-back sets, are to be expected soon. Last year saw Masters At Work go back-to-back with Dixon and Maceo Plex pair up with Tale Of Us.

Seth Troxler calls Dalt Vila "the most iconic venue on the entire island" and B.Traits says "it's like a scene from a movie."

The Dalt Vila party is the finale of the three-day International Music Summit, which turns 11 this year.

"For this closing finale IMS has curated the most unique line up that Ibiza will witness in 2018, with a backdrop of the sun setting over the historic 2,500-year- old fort and UNESCO World Heritage Site, overlooking Ibiza Old Town and the Mediterranean Sea," the press release reads.

"With both legendary and iconic artists sharing the stage with the most exciting emerging artists of today, the 2018 line-up is a strong contender for the best in IMS Dalt Vila history."

Ben Turner, co-founder of IMS, said: “IMS Dalt Vila is one of the most beautiful ways to celebrate another summer of electronic music in Ibiza and the end to another IMS summit. It’s reflective every year of the dominant sound and tempo of the island, and right now this continues to be the underground house and techno sound.

"The line-up reflects artists with some of the best residencies including Sven and Bedouin, but also iconic artists like Danny Tenaglia, and the hottest new names of today including Jackmaster, Nastia and Peggy Gou. Male; female; Spanish; international; young and old – it’s a good reflection of techno today.”

Sven Väth's slot this year coincides with his Cocoon party moving from Amnesia to Pacha after 18 years.

Once again, we're working with IMS on the Visionaries and Accelerator contests in search of music industry innovators. Submissions can be made here. The deadline is March 21.

Tickets for this year's party at Dalt Vila can be purchased for €50 here.
