The PLX-500 is Pioneer DJ's latest turntable
Available next month for £299
Pioneer DJ will release a new direct drive turntable in September, promising "warm, clear analogue sound".
The PLX-500, retailing at £299, comes with a line output meaning it can be directly connected to your audio system and is ideal for scratching, according to the company.
Visibly similar to the PLX-1000, although cheaper, it's compatible with Pioneer's rekordbox dvs Plus Pack which makes it possible to play and scratch MP3s via a DJM mixer and the RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl. You'll also be able to transform your vinyls into digital files through a USB port.
Contents include a cartridge, stylus and slipmat and it'll be available in crisp white (PLX-500-W) or slick black (PLX-500-K).
