You can now experience 3D sound through your headphones
WAVES Nx gives you surround sound from the comfort of your own home
Brand new technology from WAVES can now turn any pair of headphones into surround, 3D sound using a simple desktop or mobile application.
The Nx program uses psycho-acoustic algorithms to bring 5.1 or 7.1 audio to the listener, mimicking the quality of an IMAX theatre or live concert. WAVES's new project also uses a physical attachment called the 'Nx Head Tracker', which locks onto any pair of over-ear headphones and tracks your position to alter sound levels accordingly. The Nx system is designed to enhance listening experiences for music, film and even video games.
WAVES has been developing audio innovations in the industry for over a decade and is one of the only brands to receive the Technical Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement in Sound.
