The Bug, Thomas Brinkmann, Donato Dozzy and more team up on a new Morphine Records compilation to fundraise for Beirut

This is the second phase of Morphine’s fundraising project for Beirut

Berlin-based label Morphine Records has put together an artist compilation entitled ‘The Sacred Rage’ to fundraise for Beirut following the fatal and devastating warehouse explosions last week.

The compilation includes contributions from Thomas Brinkmann, The Bug, Donato Dozzy, Monolake, and label founder Rabih Beaini. ‘The Sacred Rage’ is a collection of previously unreleased tracks from all of the contributors.

‘The Sacred Rage’ is the second phase in Morphine Records’ fundraising efforts for Beirut. The first took place on August’s Bandcamp Friday; the label put out an open call for donations which were sent to local NGOs like Food Heritage Foundation, Matbakh Al Balad and the Lebanese Red Cross.

Money raised from the sales of ‘The Sacred Rage’ will continue to go to grassroots organisations in Beirut, bypassing the government and banking system to go straight to the people who need aid the most.
