The Avalanches share new track 'Frankie Sinatra' and album details

The Australian collective are back, for real

The Avalanches have shared 'Frankie Sinatra', their first original track in 16 years, along with details of their long-awaited second album, 'Wildflower', out on July 8.

'Frankie Sinatra' features Danny Brown, who first announced he had worked on the track back in 2012, and MF Doom and draws on Wilmoth Houdini's 'Bobby Sox Idol'. There's a trippy video to go along with it, courtesy of Fleur & Manu, the French directors behind videos for Drake, Sébastien Tellier and Gesaffelstein.

New music from the Australian collective has been anticipated since the release of their sample-driven classic 'Since I Left You'. This year, unheard material has been teased since April, when the group updated their social media accounts with a new image.

Since then, they have announced shows in Australia, Europe and the UK, released a 'Since They Left Us' teaser video and set up a hotline that plays a loop of new track 'Subways'.
