Swedish House Mafia reveal release date for album 'Paradise Again'

Swedish House Mafia have announced the release date of their new album 'Paradise Again'.

This highly anticipated album has been in the works by Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello of the legendary supergroup for some time.

The album will include tracks 'It Gets Better,' 'Lifetime,' 'Moth to a Flame', which features The Weeknd, and the new Sting collaboration 'Redlight', which is out now.

'Redlight' recreates the iconic hook from Police track 'Roxanne', and the official music video for the track is also out today.

'Paradise Again' is the byproduct of "years of soul-searching and reinvention", the group said - according to EDM.com.

"When we decided to run it back, I felt that naiveness," Angello explained. "I felt that there was no judgment, no expectations. I didn't expect us to go back and do ‘Don't You Worry Child,’ parts three, four, five and six. We were just like a fresh new page, and that made me feel like I was 15 again."

"...I think that it's going to live longer if we just risk everything we've done, say 'Fuck the old hits. Fuck the tour. Fuck everything. Let's just risk it, be punk, and do whatever we feel because it's genuine,'" added Ingrosso.

Last summer the group released their first music in years, their recent contributions to The Weeknd's album also sparked talks about their re-emergence amongst fans.

Prior to this, their influential 'Until Now' released in 2021 remained the hallmark of their success.

This year, the group will be headlining Coachella in April and they're going on a headline tour from July. The album will be out on April 15, 2022.
