Solomon Grey - 5/10

London-based duo Solomon Grey give us a taster of their forthcoming self-titled debut album with first single ‘Sweet 84’. Garage house producer T Williams takes us to a dank warehouse party on his remix, turning in a dirty bass version that’s got a solid drum workout and a riff that would get Flat Eric’s head nodding.

Appreciating that this is a remix, a dub version would have been welcome, too, as the vocal drags the track in another direction that won’t be for everyone.
