28 photos that capture the essence of Secret Solstice

Following Mixmag’s feature outlining the biggest tunes of Iceland’s Secret Solstice, we’re showcasing a snapshot of the unique atmosphere with an extensive photo gallery from the four day festival.

With a stacked lineup consisting of artists from across the musical spectrum performing on five stages, there was plenty to peak our interest. Main highlights include a sun-soaked day set from Awesome Tapes From Africa affiliate Ata Kak with the crowd chanting his name, a raucous dance party with Soul Clap and Wolf + Lamb tossing up free merch, Princess Nokia’s stage dive to begin her set, The Prodigy throwing down high energy in the pouring rain and Kerri Chandler banging the keys during his hybrid DJ set.

Whether it was to catch Anderson .Paak or Rick Ross on the main stage, or closing out each evening in HEL with the likes of Exos, The Black Madonna, Seth Troxler, Kiasmos, Dubfire and Dusky, the 24 hours of sunlight were well spent immersed in blissful sound.
