Rex Orange County, real name Alexander O'Connor, has been accused of sexually assaulting and attacking a woman at his home in June.

Appearing in Southwark Crown Court today, the 24-year-old was charged with six counts of sexual assaults according to The Sun.

Prosecutors told the court that the singer assaulted the woman twice in London's West End on June 1.

He then allegedly assaulted her in a taxi and three further times at his home in Notting Hill the day afterwards.

O'Connor was given unconditional bail ahead of the trial date, which has been set for January 3. He denies all counts of assault.

A representative for Rex Orange County told The Sun: “Alex is shocked by the allegations which he denies and looks forward to clearing his name in court.

"He is unable to make any further comment because of the ongoing proceedings.”
