A new music and arts venue called RASA is opening in Singapore
Located “in the heart of the city”, RASA is designed by the same people behind Berghain and Kyiv’s ∄ nightclub
A new venue for music, art and culture is coming to downtown Singapore in January next year.
Consisting of two rooms, RASA has been designed by Studio Karhard, the Berlin-based architectural team behind Berghain and Kyiv's ∄.
“Here at last, you'll find two rooms to lose yourself in. Whether this be an exploration of tastes to nourish the body and mind, or a deep dive into the sounds that will lift your spirits, with artists and musicians both familiar and new,” reads a statement on RASA’s website.

The nightclub also has a custom-designed TPi soundsystem and an immersive lighting expertise from Bandung-based company Convert Textured.
"The style is modern and futuristic yet it is a warm, welcoming retreat," shared Thomas Karsten, co-founder of Studio Karhard.
The first room, the Hall, will be open from Wednesday to Saturday and specialise in UK garage, downtempo, reggae, and funk.
The second room, the Floor, takes guests on a journey through house and electronic music, paying homage to ‘90s and early 2000s classics on Thursdays, transitioning to energising house on Fridays and acid house, broken beat, and electro on Saturdays.

“RASA is a love letter to our Southeast Asian roots,” says founder Kavan Spruyt. “We’re creating a space where local and regional talent can shine… while also welcoming international artists who resonate with our cultural identity.”
The venue’s first resident will be Wild Pearl – a club night and independent radio station.
