The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party. This week we welcome Kai Alcé, James Priestley and Giles Smith for a secretsundaze takeover.
Over the last decade the world-renowned label and club night has been a regular feature at some of the world's most important and influential venues such as Robert Johnson, Output, Space, Panorama Bar, The Rex and Trouw.
The label is on fire at the moment with a run of releases that include DJ Qu, Amir Alexander and Endian. Last week we premiered the label's latest, a fine EP from Bristol's Shanti Celeste. Giles and James also have music on the way for the label set to surface in the early 2016.
Kai Alcé has produced on Moodymann's Mahoghany Music, Omar S's FXHE and has a forthcoming 12" for Theo Parrish's Sound Signature imprint. Be sure to check out the re-release of his mighty remix of Sandman and Riverside's 'In Your Story' and his new soulful vocal cut 'Take A Chance' on his excellent NDATL label.
