SBTRKT is the newest DJ for BBC Radio 1's Residency show
Breach is also being added to the roster
On July 17, the debut Residency show from UK producer SBTRKT will be broadcast on BBC Radio 1.
He'll join Skream, Hannah Wants, James Blake, Kaytranada, George FitzGerald and Heidi for the show which goes out every Thursday at 10pm and midnight.
Another new addition to the Residency is Breach, whose show will be aired on the fourth Thursday of each month.
On being selected as a Residency DJ, SBTRKT said:
"BBC Radio 1 has been a large part in my journey making and playing music - from listening to new music on Westwood and Pete Tong when growing up to finding new music through Gilles Peterson and Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs, the Essential Mixes, the Maida Vale sessions and all the DJs who have supported my music and performances to this day! It will be a great honour to get to play some inspiring music on the Residency show!"
