Sadiq Khan invites Four Tet to speak on Fabric closure at London's City Hall

The devastating closure of fabric has shaken the spirits of UK nightlife. The club's licence has been revoked but is currently pushing for an appeal from the Islington council.

Mayor Sadiq Khan, who was heavily pressured to help keep fabric open during its 28-day review, has personally invited Four Tet to speak on the matter at London's City Hall.

The electronic artist, along with countless others, took to social media to express his extreme heartache over the closure of the iconic club. "Pure sadness about fabric. London is being ruined right now," Four Tet first shared upon hearing the news. The producer then went on to explain that he had personally messaged Khan to zero response, a move seen as a "failure" in the artist's eyes.

Now, it seems as though Sadiq has pulled through through in a response. Four Tet notified his fans the mayor had answered and invited him to discuss his views on the "London club situation". Currently, there are no further details or official confirmation on the meeting.
