Roy Davis Jr. has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis
The Chicago legend has cancelled his April gigs
Chicago house legend Roy Davis Jr. has issued a statement via his Facebook page revealing his diagnosis with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). His shows in April have been either cancelled or postponed.
According to his statement, Roy was rushed to the hospital last week after feeling weak and unable to walk. Last weekend, after many tests, the doctors delivered the news of his illness.
Roy Davis Jr. aims to return to playing shows again from May onwards, and does not plan on quitting anytime soon. "I wanted to write this to tell you all that I will not let this overcome me".
